Kung Fu Girls Lineage: maybe pre-FM or FM > ? > CDA (silver) > EAC > WAV > FLAC 8 Quality: FLAC Source, A- Notes: This is Blondie at the start of their 1978 US Tour with the (then) new line-up of Stein, Destri, Harry, Infante, Harrison & Burke The back cover claims this as "Live at the Paradise Theater, Boston, Ma - 5/27/78". Its pretty clear from comments in recording that this is a session for WBCN Boston. The Blondie gig list at http://www.blondie.net/gig_list.shtml shows two separate entries for the 27th - WBCN and the Paradise Theatre with the latter starting very late on the 27th. Artwork can be found at http://www.recmod.com/bootleg/boot75.html Set lists for Blondie performances are few and far between; Jet Boys seems to something of a rarity. Other notes: Checked OK for SBE's, decoding and (no) lossy lineage. Sound quality is a matter of opinion; not bad with plenty of atmosphere is mine! I'll put an mp3 clip up. Lead out of "Presence, Dear" Debbie says, "Here we are at WBCN, thanks to Charlie Kendal"; several other tracks have WBCN mentions. Lead-in to Cautious Lip, Debbie is saying something about the song being for all the people listening on the radio (there's an additional dedication but I could make it out). Several dedications at the end of "...Sniper", starting a wish for a good weekend (27-May-78 was a Saturday) and to all those who graduated. "Jet Boys" was a New York Dolls number
