Fleetwood Mac — with or without Sheryl Crow in tow — is planning to be active again.
Singer/guitarist Lindsey Buckingham — who’s just released a new concert DVD, “Live at the Bass Performance Hall,” from his 2006-07 solo tour — tells Billboard.com that the group is “looking at the idea of touring sometime in the first half of 2009,” possibly with some new material to play.
In recent weeks Crow, who’s friendly with Mac’s Stevie Nicks, has talked about joining the band, which Buckingham acknowledges is a possibility, though he adds, “I don’t think anything is written in stone yet.”

Stevie Nicks recorded a concert taping for the popular PBS Soundstage series on Oct 26th.
According to Soundstage Stevie’s performance would be broadast during Season 6, which resumes January 2008. A DVD release is also planned for sometime in 2008.

Stevie Nicks is reported to be taping a performance for Soundstage on Thursday, October 25 that coincids with an additional live concert date at the Rosemont Theatre in Rosemont IL on October 19.
The performance, billed as Stevie Nicks and Friends Live in Concert, will be recorded at WTTM’s Grainger Studio in Chicago.
These performances have typically aired on PBS a few months after being recorded and have eventually been released on DVD. The earliest it would be air, however, is next January when Soundstage resumes its season. Both Fleetwood Mac and Lindsey Buckingham performed on Soundstage in 2003.

As part the European promotion for the release of Crystal Visions, Stevie Nicks gave an interview to the UK Newspaper ‘The Telegraph’ on 8th Sept 2007
During the 10 or so years that she was addicted to cocaine - back in the days when Fleetwood Mac’s album credits would include a ‘thanks’ to their dealer - Stevie Nicks estimates that she must have spent more than $1 million on the drug. ‘At $100 a pop - that’s a gram - and we were the ones who were buying it for everybody else; not only us, but all our friends.’ Nicks thinks about this. ‘Actually, I would say millions…………

According to a recent magazine article in Mojo (UK) and Warner Bros (UK) the release date for Crystal Visions: The Very Best of Stevie Nicks (Warner Bros CD & DVD) is September 24 in the UK
Stevie Nicks is featured in the latest edition of the popular UK music magazine “Mojo”
A post on Celebrity Listings listings led me to an Arizona Republic article <posted here> that reported this week that the incomparable Stevie Nicks has put her Paradise Valley, Arizona home on the market. NIcks has owned the house since 1981 (although oddly enough the listing says it was built in 1983). She told the Arizona Republic that she is moving into “a rock-and-roll penthouse” in Santa Monica. She did add that she had written many famous songs there and that the home had been home to all sorts of rock-and-roll behavior.
Nicks has recently busied herself with helping soldiers injured in Iraq, giving them music-filled iPods and raising money for medical aid such as prosthetic limbs. The five-bedroom and seven-bathroom home has two wings and a pool/spa area. It’s not as magical or mystical as I might expect a Stevie Nicks home to be but it has its charms, including a library with built-in bookcases and a tranquil mountain view.
