Release of IN YOUR DREAMS by Stevie Nicks on vinyl

A vinyl edition of Stevie Nicks’ ‘In Your Dreams album from 2011 is to be released on 4 October 2024 in the UK, this is the first time that a standalone edition of this album has been made available outside of the career-spanning set ‘Complete Studio Albums And Rarities‘ that was released in limited quantities last year, and again like the releases earlier this year of vinyl editions of ‘Trouble In Shangri-La’ and ‘Street Angel‘ you may never know about these releases as there seems to be zero promotion involved!

There has been no press release, no social media announcements, nothing posted on official websites and nothing from Rhino or Dig about this release, it seems as though this release is packaged up as part of Rhino’s Rocktober 2024 campaign, the album will be available in North America and Europe.

The album information is as follows:

Stevie Nicks – In Your Dreams

Classic Fleetwood Mac Albums to be reissued on Coloured Vinyl | Far Out

Fleetwood Mac released five back-to-back multi-platinum albums between 1975 and 1987, an effort which led to them being one of the best-selling bands around the globe.

Now, those classic albums will be reissued individually on coloured vinyl on November 29. The albums include Fleetwood Mac on white vinyl; Rumours on clear vinyl; Tusk on a silver vinyl 2-LP set; Mirage on violet vinyl; and Tango In The Night on green vinyl. On the same day, all five coloured-vinyl LPs will be presented together in slipcase as a limited edition, individually numbered set of 2,000 copies, available exclusively at the Rhino store. This collection is available to pre-order now.

A new incarnation of Fleetwood Mac debuted in the summer of 1975 that included Mick Fleetwood, John McVie and Christine McVie, along with new members Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham. The group’s first album together, Fleetwood Mac (sometimes called “The White Album”), topped the Billboard album chart, spent more than a year in the Top 40 and sold more than five million copies in the U.S. thanks to songs like ‘Landslide’, ‘Say You Love Me’, and ‘Rhiannon’.

In 1977, the band followed up with Rumours, considered by many to be among the greatest albums of all time. It won the Grammy for ‘Album of the Year’ and has sold more than 40 million copies worldwide. Its unforgettable tracks include: ‘Go Your Own Way’, ‘Gold Dust Woman’ and the band’s first number one smash, ‘Dreams’.

The double-album Tusk arrived in 1979. It sold more than four million copies worldwide and introduced fans to hits like ‘Sara’, ‘Think About Me’, and the title track. Three years later, in 1982, Fleetwood Mac again topped the charts with Mirage. Along with hits like ‘Hold Me’ and ‘Gypsy’, Mirage also features great album tracks like ‘Oh Diane’ and ‘Straight Back’.

In 1987, Tango in the Night became the second-most successful album of the band’s career, selling more than 15 million copies worldwide with the massive hits ‘Everywhere’, ‘Big Love’ and ‘Little Lies’.

Pre-order the collection, here, and have a closer look below.

Fleetwood Mac Releasing Alternate ‘Tango In The Night’ LP For ‘Record Store Day’ | 94.7 WLS

Fleetwood Mac will release Tango In The Night – Alternate for “Record Store Day” on April 21st. The LP, which was released as part of last year’s deluxe expanded version of the 1987 album, will be limited to 4000 copies on vinyl LP. Tango In The Night – Alternate features 13 unreleased tracks, including the alternate version of “Mystified,” a demo for the album’s title song, plus the rare b-sides: “Down Endless Street” and “Ricky.” Tango In The Night, which is the band’s second biggest selling album, spawned four hit singles “Little Lies” (#4), “Big Love” (#5), “Everywhere” (#14), and “Seven Wonders” (#19).

Although Lindsey Buckingham now saves songs from his solo sessions for prospective Fleetwood Mac-related projects, he recalled that during the time of Tango In The Night, it was literally the opposite way around for him and the band: “The Tango In The Night album has tracks on it that were the beginnings of my third solo record. And I started that, and the group sort of moved in and said, ‘Hey, we gotta do this.’ So the song ‘Big Love’ switched gears and got into the group thing. There was more than one time when I was tempted to sort of go out and leave the group — but it’s like anything else; you have to check your own impulses and make sure that you’re really doing the right thing and you’re ready for it.”

Now available: Fleetwood Mac, In Concert

From Rhino.com

Fleetwood Mac fans had their minds blown in late 2015 – or at least that’s the reaction we were going for, anyway – when Rhino reissued Tusk in a deluxe edition digitally and on CD that included 22 previously-unreleased live tracks from the band’s 1979-80 tour. For those who didn’t want to buy their umpteenth copy of Tusk, not even for nearly two dozen heretofore-unavailable concert performances, it was also a very frustrating release, especially when those folks were additionally annoyed by the fact that the material wasn’t available on vinyl.

To those individuals, this piece may serve as the equivalent of an emotional massage, to release the tension you’ve been holding in your wallet since then: we’ve just issued Fleetwood Mac: In Concert, which features all of those live tracks on a 3-LP set pressed on180-gram vinyl.

The material on In Concert was recorded at four stops on the band’s tour: Wembley, Tucson, St. Louis, and Omaha. Some of the songs were recorded a few dates into the tour, others were recorded several months into the tour, but they’re all classic tracks, and the sound quality is outstanding.

Fleetwood Mac: In Concert Set for Vinyl Debut
Triple-LP Collection Features 22 Live Recordings From The Band’s 1979-80 Tour
That Were Previously Available Only As Part Of The Tusk: Deluxe Edition

FM-InConcert_large

Available On March 4 From Warner Bros. Records

Fleetwood Mac unveiled a massive Deluxe Edition of its revered double album TUSK late last year that featured 22 previously unreleased live performances selected from the band’s 1979-80 tour. Until now, those concert recordings have only been available as part of the set and only on CD and digitally. That will change soon with the release of FLEETWOOD MAC: IN CONCERT.

All of the live music from the 2015 reissue of TUSK will be available on March 4 from Warner Bros. Records as a three-LP set. Pressed on 180-gram vinyl, the albums will be presented in a tri-fold jacket.

Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Christine McVie, Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks originally released TUSK in October of 1979. The Grammy Award-nominated, double-album went onto sell more than four million copies worldwide and introduced fans to hits like ‘Sara,’ ‘Think About Me,’ and the title track.

The music heard on IN CONCERT was recorded at four stops during the band’s 111-show world tour promoting TUSK. This new collection serves as a worthy companion to the classic 1980 album LIVE. Although a few songs are duplicated from that album, including ‘Say You Love Me,’ ‘Landslide’ and ‘Go Your Own Way,’ each performance on IN CONCERT is unique and taken from a different show.

IN CONCERT boasts 10 songs not heard on LIVE, including ‘World Turning’ from the Fleetwood Mac’s 1975 self-titled release, and ‘The Chain’ from the band’s best-selling album RUMOURS (1977), a Grammy-award winning juggernaut that has sold more than 40 million copies.

Several songs from IN CONCERT were recorded at the Checkerdome in St. Louis just a month after the release of TUSK, and only seven shows into the tour. Those performances capture the band already in top form on songs like ‘Angel,’ ‘Save Me A Place’and ‘What Makes You Think You’re The One.’

The rest of the performances were recorded several months later, including 11 songs from the band’s six-night stand at Wembley Arena in London in June 1980. Among the highlights are ‘That’s Enough For Me,’ ‘Sisters Of The Moon,’ and the Top 10 smash from RUMOURS, ‘You Making Loving Fun.’
